The Redemptors

The Redemptors are a faction in the demon civil war, lead by Empress Sephora who was formerly installed as empress by the Coalition of the Free in the |Time of Chaos before being deposed herself.

The Redemptors follow Sephora's edicts that thrall-taking should be abolished, the demon empire's imperial ambitions ceased, and wealth be redistributed to ensure demon society isn't ruled by a handful of elites. She is popular amongst dwarves, elves, and humans because of this, and many serve her willingly to see her restore peace to the continent and curtail the power of the demon empire once and for all.

The Redemptors are once of the weaker factions as a result of Sephora's refusal to take thralls. However, its members are generally far more motivated than the other factions who rely on raids, enthrallment, and dubious mercenaries to bolster their ranks. This has resulted in many victories for The Redemptors that on paper would appear to defy all odds. Even so, The Redemptors do not have large enough of an army to take on the more experienced armies of The Imperium and have also lost many battles due to defending towns and villages when a retreat would have been more tactically sound.

The Redemptors focus heavily on dethrallment research and have been making great strides in recent years in severing thralls from ties to their masters or mistresses. This also makes them very vulnerable to spies from The Court of Lust who only ever pretend to be enthralled, or whose enthrallment is kept particularly concealed.
