Demon-In-The-Tower is a popular Aphrodisian card game played mainly by humans and dwarves but by cultural diffusion is also popular amongst elven traders and sailors.

Each player has a deck of cards with various characters on them that must be played in certain layouts, three rows and five columns. Players compete by building the best "castle" where the arrangement of the cards provide more or fewer points based on who is next to what. Other players can also use cards to force rearrangements of opponents' castles or reduce the cards in their hand. Some cards can be played face down, giving an element of bluffing for when an opponent chooses to rearrange an adversary's castle.

In order to score the most points, the one and only succubus card per deck needs to be in the middle-top row, and three demons must be in a row in the top or middle rows. Having the succubus out of place makes the player lose many points.

The round ends when the first player runs out of cards in their hand or the first castle is filled.
