Gius Libidine

Gius Libidine, founder of the Libidine Dynasty was the human expedition leader that lead the first humans through the gate in mid 1990s earth into Aphrodisia in the year 4610. The portal lead to the top of a hill which would later become the center of the first human city, Niu Heym.

After the portal closed unexpectedly, stranding humanity in Aphrodisia and struggling to survive in an unfamiliar, magical world, Gius Libidine was elected king to bring order to the chaos in the year 4613. He thus became the first kind of the Libidine Dynasty, the line of kings and queens who ruled humanity up until King Harold the Mad's defeat in 5610.

Gius was elected as monarch because he promised to end the chaos created when humans despaired and struggled to adapt to a new magical world. He vowed to prioritize research on reopening the portal back to earth, but was ultimately unsuccessful, and died believing himself to be a failure.
