Alkthyb Almalika

Golden humanlike goddess of the desert and all that dwells within it, Alkthyb Almalika is revered, but not loved by many who live within her domain. She is thought to cause oases to spring up from the desert and to bring luck and riches to her favoured, but to also bring droughts, summon mirages, and call upon her lover Gaoth an Ataraithe to bring down sand storms on any who displease her. Considering her fearsome temper and great pride, those in the later category far outweigh those in the former. When appearing in the flesh, she does so by rising from the sands, her body resplendent in shining gold and wrapped in expensive and colorful silks.

She has few fixed temples outside of the compounds of her favored Sand Vipers, as her other worshipers are more often than not nomads, but within the camps of those who live in the harsh deserts, one can almost always find a small tent filled with riches and comfortable rugs, just incase The Queen of the Dunes should happen to visit.

Her symbol is a golden viper's head, usually with ruby eyes.
