The Second Libidine Restoration occured when Schulte Dynasty collapsed in 5368 following a popular uprising lead by both commoners and nobles, unhappy with how the last Schulte queen handled the Great Eastern Shake, attempting to use the disaster to convert a large part of the city into a personal palace and displacing tens of thousands of survivors still scraping by. With the Schulte family ruthlessly executed or exiled, the closest living descendant of the Libidine Dynasty was found and brought back to the throne.
