After the deposing of Queen Sephora by the new Empress Valentinia, the self described true heirs to the old Empire have attempted to clamp down on the rebellious factions in order to reestablish The Empire to its former glory. While on paper and in rhetoric The Imperium intends to reestablish the classical golden age of The Old Demon Empire, it is no secret that power has shifted from the Empress to the Black Council, made up of the demon Queens Helatia and Queen Luna as well as Lord Cato, General Maxime and Speaker Lucian, a trio of Imperial Elves representing the increasing dominance of so called 'dark elves' within Imperial society.
