After the deposing of Queen Sephora by the new Empress Valentinia, the self described true heirs to the old Empire have attempted to clamp down on the rebellious factions in order to reestablish The Empire to its former glory. While on paper and in rhetoric The Imperium intends to reestablish the classical golden age of The Old Demon Empire, it is no secret that power has shifted from the Empress to the Black Council, made up of the demon Queens Helatia and Queen Luna as well as Lord Cato, General Maxime and Speaker Lucian, a trio of Imperial Elves representing the increasing dominance of so called 'dark elves' within Imperial society. Hating this loss of power, Queen Helatia has leant her aid to a traitorous movement seeking to place the former Emperor Felatitus back on the throne, though none know where he is now.

Lead by Empress Valentinia with Queen Helatia and Queen Luna as her two top generals.

The Imperium has the greatest claim to the old Empire and currently holds the demon capital city Magan along with a number of nearby outposts. They have about thirty percent of the demon population and seek to control all of Aphrodisia, conquering it by brute force and rigidly controlling thrall trading based on a new caste system based on loyalty and favors to Empress Valentinia, instead of Felatitius' free-for-all during the Exile.

Queen Helatia secretly wishes to restore the deposed Emperor Felatitus to the throne and betray Empress Valentinia and Queen Luna, but nobody knows where he is after he was defeated by the Alliance and fled the Capital City.

Military Doctrine and Tactics

The Imperium relies on large armies, which are primarily bolstered by their dark elf allies and hosts of enthralled warriors from conquered towns, villages, or enemy combatants. They often win numbers through numbers, willing to sacrifice many even for trivial gains, although Queen Helatia and Queen Luna command veteran armies far more tactical than the rest. Sometimes weak mercenary armies are deployed as mere bait, sacrificial pawns in the great game.
